My GOD, read the comments.

This is a lot of what I read here with diet, training, sleep. Do what works for YOU isn't good enough, you must conform to MY beliefs or you're doing it wrong.

I started reading the comments and then I decided it would be more fun to jab a Tabasco-dipped fork in my eye :)

First Rule of the Internet:  Never read the comments.  (at least, on anything you've posted.

In this case, reading the comments for entertainment only is allowed.

See there, now I have to add yet another thing I can't bring up at a party.

Sometimes I read things like this and think I should post something about tolerance or something and then I remember "Please don't feed the animals" ...no pun intended.

The comments section reminds me of Politics, Religion and other sensitive subjects where some people think that they are 100% right and that everyone else is 100% wrong. It doesn't matter how much you try to reason with people like that because they do not care about your opinion.

I pretty much always read the comments. There are times I don't even get around to reading the actual article (unless I want to make a comment of my own) because the comments are so amusing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this.

I found this a while back. Blog from the vegan gf in supersize me. She is no longer vegan.

Also interesting one of my closest friends stopped being vegan after 12 years. I guess he wanted a sausage pizza too badly.

After reading the one comment calling the Dalai Lama a creep, I figured I'd laughed enough for one session.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this.

I'm so accustomed to the comments I get upset when I read an article and there aren't any comments.

The other funny part is when they link to facebook and people aren't so anonymous with their "flame" comments.  Then it gets all kinds of crazy.

btw, I tried a "Daniel Fast" which is very close to a vegan diet.  I lasted 3 days and it was either go jump off a bridge or eat some meat.  I chose the latter.

On a serious note, my daughter is a vegetarian (not vegan) and it is a lot harder to eat healthy.  Obviously most vegetarian  foods are "healthy", but keeping the right balance of nutrients and proteins is much easier if you just slap some bacon or a burger in every now and again.  ;-)
So, as you can guess I just buy her Vegi Bacon and Boca Burgers.  haha, fixed
