Subject: 2008 Medium QR Kilo Bike or Frame for Sale
Selling a 2008 QR Kilo bought new in September of 2009, Medium frame (I think it is a 52 cm). I am a 5'9" woman with all of my height in my legs, but the bike has become too small as I've gotten older and less flexible. I will consider selling either the frame or the bike. Note, in subsequent years, QR reduced the Ultegra components on the Kilo to 105s to keep the cost down. Frame is aluminum but light and in good shape with some minor scratches in the paint from normal wear and tear. I am selling the bike with its original components except as noted. Replaced a cracked stem in 2013 with a Bontrager riser stem that raises the bars about an inch. Bottom bracket was replaced due to normal wear in 2012. Replaced the stock seat post with an aluminum upgrade in 2013 for more adjustability and better ride. Pictures are attached. Things shown that aren't going: wheel set and power tap (original wheels will go with the bike); pedals; bike computer; and Adamo seat (original seat will go with the bike).

If you are out of the area, I can arrange to have it professionally broken down and shipped at your cost.

Price depends on what you are buying. Looking to get $750 for the bike (not including shipping). Will entertain offers for the frame.

Hi - I might be interested in this. I want to inquire with QR and see if the size would be right for my body and also find out how much it would cost to get fit / reassembled properly.

How much would it be to ship? I'm in CT if it helps to figure the cost.

We are often asked the question, "What size frame should I buy" and the answer is “it depends”. I know that’s not the answer you want to hear, but hopefully the following will shed some more light.

I am in the process of buying my first tri bike. Because of my size my fitter suggested buying a custom frame but then I have an infinite number of choices for components, wheels, aerobars, etc.
