Was a very solid run for my current fitness, glad to have finished so well.
What would you do differently?:

Well, have more run fitness, it just isn't where I am at in my main race training at the moment.

8 mile run at z2 pace.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just where I am in my training, need more weekly miles to sustain a faster pace.

Event comments:

Beautiful course an the bike path along the Sacramento River. Beat my 16 year old son ... this year, we see about next year.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
