I ordered a 2xu compression tri- suit online. It came yesterday. I opened the box and thought,.... "hmmm, they must have sent me a child sized suit!" I noticed my cycling jerseys seems to run really small too. Do they in fact run small, or am I just in complete denial about my size??? Feeling emotional, fat and PMS.

Sincerely,

Fiona (Shrek)

We like 2XU....it runs pretty true in sizing from what I can tell. We have men's and women's. Try it on.....you might be surprised.

I wear medium in most clothing but get small in all of my triathlon gear. I want it to fit tight with minimal wrinkles. A medium feels great when I put it on dry but as soon as it gets wet it loosens up, sometimes even gets baggy. If your stuff fits correctly, it will feel too tight when you first put it on.

Triathlon isn't for the modest.......

I have found 2XU and De Soto to run more true to size if not just a bit small. The 2XU has more stretch whereas De Soto doesn't much.

Zoot, Pearl iZumi, Sugoi and a Champion Systems are examples that run a little bigger and/or are more forgiving, at least in my experience.

De Soto is American made and is really top notch. It's a tossup between them and Zoot for my favorites. Both are outstanding.

PI and Sugoi aren't far behind. Comfortable and tough gear.

I bought a top end 2XU kit and the decorative piping started peeling within the first few wears. I was sorely disappointed. Very cheaply done.

ChampSys gear feels good but chafes in bad spots, tops and bottoms. Their stitching seems to be the culprits.

We are often asked the question, "What size frame should I buy" and the answer is “it depends”. I know that’s not the answer you want to hear, but hopefully the following will shed some more light.

Many of us do not enjoy the ‘pleasures’ of training on a stationery trainer. “Boring”, ”mind-numbing”, “a drag” are three phrases often associated with indoor trainers.
