If you have a 2013 Felt B16 or older with a power meter, which power meter do you have? I have found out that this bike is very unique in that it can be a pain to get some systems to fit, such as Stages. Based on what they told me, I'd have to get a whole new crank and possibly new brake system because the arm gets really close to the rear brake.

I have a Quarq without any clearance issues.

Stages will fit with a rear brake change such as: http://www.trpbrakes.com/category.php?productid=1032&catid=182&subc...

In order for the Stages to work, you would need a new crack anyways. By the time you get a new crank, bottom bracket, and a Stages meter, you are into the good used cost of a Quarq.

Power2max here. I wanted Stages /w an Ultegra crank. Got the crank and then measured like I should have at the start and nope...won't fit. I bought my PM when they were running a sale (~100-200 cheaper than now) and during cyber Monday it was like $200 off even that. Pissed since I missed it by 2 weeks but still happy with it. No issues yet (~5 months).

2012 B16 had a Saturn Quarq with Rotor cranks-no issues. Broke it and got a replacement Riken-still no issues

No purchases yet.  But I've been looking into it myself and I'm leaning towards Power2Max.  You can get them for about $1000, and it'll be a little upgrade to your chain ring as well.  I think it's one of the cheapest options around and has some benefits by being crank-based on the spider (includes power from both legs and let's you swap out wheels).  Stages is technically cheaper for a single crank alone.  But you'll need to buy a pair and swap out your rear brake caliper, which bumps it up above the $1000 mark.  Powertap would be slightly less assuming standard install charges.  But then your power is locked into your rear wheel (may or may not be an issue).

Here is a reply I got from Power2Max about what I would need to work with my 2012 B16 (should be the same as your 2013).  Hope this is useful.

Thank you very much for your message and for your interest in power2max. I checked online and if I see right your FSA Omega Megaexo has a pretty rare 19mm spindle. Usually Megaexo cranks have a 24mm spindle, so unfortunately you will need to change your bottom bracket. But that's not a big investment - a FSA Megaexo bottom bracket for your frame (it's a threaded frame in the BSA format) is $36.

I would recommend the FSA Gossamer (http://www.power2max.com/northamerica/Produkt/most-popular/power2max-fsa-gossamer-power-meter/) with the FSA Megaexo bottom bracket and Praxis Works chain rings (they will improve the shifting on your bike), If you want to treat yourself to an upgrade the Rotor 3D (http://www.power2max.com/northamerica/Produkt/most-popular/power2max-rotor-3d-power-meter/) would be a great option.

Thanks for the replies. I'm trying to stay on a tight budget with this one but at the same time am concerned with value and the least amount of hassle possible. Just baffling that such a popular bike would be so restrictive with power meters.

I'll take a look at the P2M and some pre-owned Quarqs.

Work your weakness. In the sport of triathlon, most coaches agree that you should spend the most time working on your weakest of the three sports. For many of you this will be swimming!
