Subject: looking for a club in nyc.
hi
i just move to new york city and i'm looking for a triathlon club to train with.
i'm trying to qualify for age group world championship of ironman 70.3 but also interested in race nationals or any other club races i could and could be interesting for the club.
mainly for me the most important would be a club to join swimmingpool trainnings and dont have to swim alone i can also train with a master swim group... but would be great be able to share the 3 sports with only one club.

in spain i race with team Marlins Triatlon Madrid and i have also race with PersonalRunning triatlon.

thanks so much in advance! and see you soon on the road!

Cesar.

I'm part of TriLife in NYC. www.trilife.org.

I'm a beginner but there are plenty of much faster athletes on the team and definitely a few 70.3 championship qualifiers. We swim as a team (included in our training) on the weekend as well as have bike and run coached sessions. Great coaching staff.

I just finished the NYC marathon on Sunday and I think I'm going to venture into triathlons. I am doing an Olympic distance and I want to do a 70.3 next year too. Any advice?

I have pedals with the cage and when I ride 2+ hours my legs feel much more tired then if I took out my husband's bike with clipless pedals. Do clipless pedals truly make the difference?

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.

Club or group workouts are very motivating and soon you’ll start feeling like a triathlete, making you less likely to flake out.

The ONLY way to compete in my first triathlon was to do it on my BMX. I’m no professional—nor do I aspire to be one, I just want to be fit and healthy.

One of my fears, besides the radioactive material content of the Hudson River, was the water temperature. I found the water was much warmer as I inched closer to the holding dock.
