Subject: Wetsuit Comparison?

Right now, I'm on the verge of buying a wetsuit but not sure which to choose.

There's a 2008 Neosport sleeveless (http://www.ebay.com/itm/NS-Unisex-Triathlon-Wetsuit-John-Sleeveless-Small-/261034319171?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc6db9d43) and a 2010 blueseventy Reaction Sleeveless, both at the same price.

I'm a FOP swimmer and definitely want to go sleeveless because of the flexibility.  This would be my first wetsuit.

Anyone have experience with either?  Definitely want to get one that will last me a while, as I'm done growing.

Thanks

Fit is really important, and different brands fit differently even at similar sizes. For that reason, might be hard to buy one online from somewhere you can't return it to.

I wanted to go sleeveless as I'm a FOP swimmer, but just kept on reading about the loss in buoyancy. You will be surprised at how flexible tri wetsuits are in the arms and shoulders, nothing like a surfing or diving wetsuit. There is obviously some tightness there, but I didn't feel as thought it impinged on my performance or fatigued my arms/shoulders. I would seriously consider a full length.

If you get a chance to try orca s4, try it, changed the way I feel in the water completely.

I'm FOP swimmer, was competitive back in the 80's. I save maybe 1 minute in the 1/2 ironman distance using a wetsuit. Yes I went with a sleevless, if I had full sleeves maybe I would be 5 or 10 seconds faster(maybe). I did not want the shoulder restriction either, If I were a pro and money was on the line I would have to try a full suit. However I am very happy with the sleevless, so if you good in the swim pick the style you want. You may want to rent a couple to see if you like them.

Fit is personnel, try some on.

Fit is everything in a wetsuit. The best option is that you have a local store that you can try many suits on. Not having that it can be done over the web with stores with liberal return policies (most that sell wetsuits have this as they know people will return them). Start early, you will be trying quite a few on to find one that works for you.
