Was simply a nice day. We were all wondering if it was going to storm, as Sat was rainy and under flood advisory.
My test ride was short, bc it was pelting me with rain and gusty winds on Queen K

Sun came up clear and sunny, near perfect conditions. Then near the end of the awards ceremony we started to get thunder and black clouds..

Nice race!

And, WOW, it sounds like a little slice of heaven in which to suffer (in a good way).

Take care of the quad!

we were very lucky to have dodged the tsunami (potential) from the Chile quake .....more than likely the race would've been cancelled if it had occurred on the weekend.
