With Olympic qualifying beginning this year, the ITU season should be fun to watch. Season starts this weekend in Auckland and they put on spectacular coverage (HD) compared to the crap Ironman gives. Even better the races are under 2 hours so you can easily fit this into a trainer ride if you want. Cost is $30 I think, but its a great investment if you love watching racing, and/or just a fan of the sport in general. Keep in mind you can watch all the races up to 3 years ago anytime you want, so you don't need to tune in live.

I expect that Mario Mola will have a huge year on the ITU circuit.

All information on coverage can be found at triathlon.org

I'm a big fan of ITU and looking forward to this as well. Not only is it short, as you mentioned, but it's filled with action most of the day. The women's races are typically as entertaining as the men's, so you've got 2 races for every WCS stop that they cover quite extensively.

I second the value of the season pass, I've gotten it for the last 3 years and never regretted it.

Looking forward to it.  In my mind it's the best triathlon racing there is.

There's an individual race cost as well correct?

I just need to find a place I can go park it and watch these now that I canned internet at home. I'm not sure the Starbucks connection is fast enough to stream it?

https://triathlonlive.tv/passes/

$6.87 per race

$27.51 for season pass

I can't speak to Starbucks, but I watch last seasons grand finale at an airport (no problems), and another race at a local coffee shop. Coverage has sometimes been a bit finicky but those moments are few and far between.
