I've seen worse ideas.

I continue to be puzzled as to why people feel the need to haul so much crap with them to transition.

X2 on that. Or why they need a place to sit. But, if they and their bucket don't get in my way, it doesn't bother me.

As long as you stay out of my way, you could set up one of those jimmy Buffett margarita machines for all I care...

I was all over that until I realized the top didn't open up into a cushioned backrest with some type of cushioned seat as an interior lid.  Now....I'll just stay wit the bucket.

I can't explain the need to sit down......but I'd sit and have a beer in T2 if I could.  I enjoy pulling my socks on, taking a drink, and just enjoying the sight of people running around like maniacs in T1.  I don't race anymore......and on the rare occasions I get to do an event that doesn't conflict with what my kids are doing, I'm just there to enjoy the day......on my bucket.

I'm generally opposed to buckets in transition, but ^^^this^^^ sounds like a good idea to me.

I'm surprised it doesn't have a built in porta-potty compartment

Given that more and more races ban anything but a clear bag, this is a non-starter.

Couple issues:

1. I can't see how one actually rides the bike with this thing attached to it.
2. The "packed box" weighs more than my bike!

Don't understand the sit down business either. If I sat down in transition, esp. T2, I'd never get back up. I'd only sit down (well, probably lie down) in a race if I was about to pass out. Agree, it's a non-starter. But if anyone wants to set up a margarita machine in the space next to me in transition, I'm game. If they made frozen ones, that might be a real hit in tropical races.

Yeah, I agree with HR, it does seem like the answer to a question that nobody asked, but I'd still like one of those frozen margarita machines in transition, or I guess it would be more practical out at an aid station.

Ok, so how about this:

Two margarita machines strapped together so they hang over a top tube, kinda like the box. Boom. Mobile Margarita Dispenser!

It has been a bucket list item for years...something to do before I'm 25. Okay, maybe I'll push that to 30. Okay, maybe I'll let it go altogether.
