Got killed on the bike course. Just not prepared for the wind and the rollers. Nutrition was bad and I cramped so bad at one point had to get off the bike.

Train more.

A great race and really one I want another shot at. For my first HIM, mistakes were made, consequences were paid. Such an iconic venue with great people and a wonderful course. I'll be back.

It was the morning of Ironman Newfoundland 70.3, I felt queasy. I didn't want to eat or drink anything. I had a full blown case of the pre-race HEEBEE GEEBEES.
