long weekend here...I didn't do any scheduled workouts but I spent these weekends running around like a chicken with my head cut off...so i'm claiming at least 15 minutes each day

I was in the same boat this weekend.

Long walks to and across fields for lacrosse tournament. During half of each game. I would walk up and down the side of the field as I watched the game. Mostly because I was tired of staying in one place.

I am claiming it!

One day a few years ago, son had a out-of-town baseball tourney that started at 7am and ended about 11pm. Next day, hubby was talking about how tired he was. I swear this was out of my mouth before I realized it. "Of course, you are tired because you went to the truck for a nap between games. You should have gone out for a 7.5 mile run." I said it, stopped, and hubby and I in unison said, "Oh God, You(I) have gone to the dark side." But I realized it's true. Watching sports from the sideline is a lot more tiring than moving and doing them ourselves.

Still peachy and most of it has been thru running which makes me so much happier than other things. I have decided to start doing some stair intervals during breaks at work and whew, it's hard work.

I try to take the stairs as much as possible at work, but out of the 2 we can use, only one is actually coded so you can exit at various levels, the other you have to go to the ground floor to get it (which I've done a time or to) and when you sit on the 8th floor that is no fun!

I was not motivated enough to go work out on my own this morning. I need to do something to get a Peach Friday!

Maybe I will do a 13 workout for Friday the 13th (in any order):

13 pushups
13 situps
13 crunches
13 second plank
13 squats
13 lunges
13 burpees (what is wrong with me! I hate burpees!)
13 tricep dips
13 jumping jacks
13 mountain climbers
13 high knees
13 bridges (holding each for 13 secs)
13 russian twists

Substitute any exercise you want. Seriously, I just made this up but it sounds like a plan!

Love the concept!!!!!!!!!!!! How much fun. I read it after the 13th but I may try that some other time.

Yesterday, hubby and I ran to the start of a 5K, did the 5K, and then ran home (Well I mostly walked home). It was fun and we got over 10 miles done. Today for Father's Day, asked hubby what he would like to do and we did a repeat of last Sunday where we ran a trail while son mtn biked. Then we ended up at our fav't pizza joint.

Happy Father's Day to all of your fathers out there!!!!!

I'm still peachy after a 10 mile run Saturday and a 70 mile bike Sunday. Whew... what a weekend. I'm beat, may skip my run today and just swim a little bit to recover. The ride yesterday was bad... really bad.

had a long training weekend down in TN for IM Chattanooga - did a 2.4 mile open water swim, 62 miles on the bike and then Sunday morning did a partial loop on the run course - unfortunately, that was bracketed either side by a long drive

Nice work! Hate that your ride was bad, though.

My log has a matching yellow hole to yours.

I don't know about that, but I was out at a metal plating facility in 97 degrees. I sweat more than when I train.

did everyone have a perfectly peachy weekend? I was laid up with sinus infection being a bum, but still got my workouts in - I know that I feel better if I do - although I skipped my swim on Friday, figured they didn't want my snotty nose in the pool although, I did go in and get fitted for a new bike saddle, so spent at least 15 minutes on the trainer (although, I know from my 2 rides that the saddle is sooo not going to work)

I managed a perfectly peachy weekend. I am hoping/ planning/ intending on keeping it going through the end of the month. Good job on getting doing your training in spite of feeling cruddy!

1900yds in the pool last night - crappy swim because no swim lane set up (even though schedule had lap swim listed); and lessons going on, so I was playing dodge the kids learning to swim - I called it quits about half-way through

I'm still peachy. WOOO! I did a 19.5 mile bike ride with a women's group Saturday. My mountain bike race Sunday was canceled because rain had flooded some of the trails, so a group of us did a short ride at another trail. It was supposed to be 9.5 miles but one girl's seat post broke 3.5 miles in so we had to walk back to the truck. It was still a decent ride and I really liked the trail, very hilly. Monday I managed to get in a good (for me) 6 mile tempo run in the midday heat. Last night I was running from the rain on a short bike ride.
Not sure what I'll get in today. This morning was reserved for picking blueberries, hey, they were free. So I have to work through lunch, and I'm supposed to wakeboard with a friend tonight after work. I guess I could consider wakeboarding a workout.

At least you have a reason for your non-peachiness. I took the day after my birthday off and yesterday because I allowed work to get away from me. I need to plan better.

Feel better ASAP. Sinus infections suck.

Really hope you feel better soon! Sinus infections suck. But I will say that whenever I lose my voice, the smile on my hubby's voice grows bigger and bigger as I lose more and more of my voice. Coincidence?

Still peachy. So happy that most of it is due to running - although usually it is only a few miles. I've really got to work on getting my long runs back and my sorta long runs. Of course to do that, I've got to figure out what is causing my stomach issues. :-(

have a duathlon on August 3rd, two weeks before my open water triathlon. I am still working on my swim but starting my bike focus training because I am behind on the bike training.

Today's workout wasn't all back to back but it works for me

Run 5.76 miles
Breakfast at Bagel Bin (that's why I do my long runs)
Bike 10.5 miles
Run 2 miles

Really nice workout today. That second run was tiring but I pushed through.

I have to say focusing on my maintaining my cadence regardless of my speed has made my riding better.
Change your gears to match your cadence, instead of changing your cadence to match your gear.

The Boulder Peak bike course is legendary. It is, literally and named as such, one of the toughest bike legs in the country.
