Subject: Hitting a wall
Hey this is my first post, I am new to triathlons, my first being the Chicago Lifetime Tri in August, olympic distance. I am 16, turning 17 September 10. I have been training for a month and a half now, all was good until the last two weeks when my final workout, a long bike ride, resulted in a flat midway through. Then this week my bike helmet was stolen so I wasn't able to go on my long bike ride again, I did manage to get my short 64 minute ride in though. On top of that my diet is slipping. I feel these two weeks may have a negative impact on my training. Any words of wisdom, or shouts of encouragement? I don't want to stress too much over this but right now I am.

New worries, 2 missed weeks will not matter in the end.
With your first being an Olympic make sure you are comfy about the swim. Don't freak out about it.
1 mile swim is quite some distance, especially in open water.

You might consider joining a mentoring group.  They're awesome for helping you stay inspired and keeping you accountable.  Hang in there.  You can do this!!
