So I'm training for a marathon swim. After a session over 1hr, my vision stays cloudy for about 30 minutes. Anyone experience this? You think it's a goggle issue? It just started recently. Goggles are about 6 mos. old.

The only time I've experienced that it's from the chlorine.  But I would think you would know that's the problem because there's usually a burning sensation involved also.  Plus since you are wearing googles would notice the water in there.

I'm just throwing a wild guess out there, but changes in blood pressure can cause vision changes. I'm wondering if the pressure from the goggle rims is causing some stress on the blood vessels around the eyes.

I would notice this when I was a kid and we would spend hours in the pool swimming with no goggles and underwater with eyes open. Never happened to me with goggles though, even after some pretty long practices with my swim team.

Does it only happen swimming or any hard effort? I remember someone on the board talking about blurred vision after hard efforts and ended up having a stroke. I think it was Tom Demerly but I'm too lazy to search.
I would get it checked.

This is kinda what I'm thinking too. Think I'll play around with different goggles. I have a new pair of the same that I'll try out tomorrow to see if it makes a difference.
