Subject: Cedar Point REV3 - where to stay?
I am going to Sundusky for the REV3, what are the options for accomodation?

I think I will drive there on Thursday, then my family will join me later on Saturday. Or maybe not our jplans not settled yet

This is my second year doing Cedar Point. We always stay at Hotel Breakers for several reasons. It's right in front of swim start. I have 4 young children, and my husband can easily take them back to room to decompress if my race runs long. It's also right on the park, so he can take them in and they can play while I'm racing. Lots of options though if you look at Rev Cedar Point website. There are discount codes, too.

I will check the Breakers and their prices.
I have four children too, but some of them are not young and should be able to take care of themselves

+1 for The Breakers

 

it gets you free parking, discounted tickets to the park, and it's the host hotel so there is a discounted rate for athletes.  You can literally walk right down the beach in 5 minutes from the hotel to swim start, and right out the front door to either the water park or the coaster park.  It's kinda hard to beat.  You can find cheaper, but nothing that will give you the race day benefits.

I just checked online, and they are fully booked for REV3 weekend!

am I looking at wrong hotel?
any alternatives?
