Subject: I'm new to Portland!
Hello all,
I just graduated from WSU and am now in Portland (Beaverton)...so not a big move really.
A few questions for the locals:
I mostly do running races, but am especially interested in sprint/olympic distance duathlons. If anyone knows of good ones, let me know.
I would also like to find a fast HM in October or November.
Where is a good area to ride? I did Beaverton - Forrest grove - Yamhill - Newberg - Scholls - Beaverton. It was pretty, but quite flat until Chehalem. I'd like more of those hills.
I am finding local running paths...so I'll be ok there.

My thanks to the triathlete community for being there when I need you. That’s the beautiful thing about triathletes. None of us are all right, and no one expects anyone else to be.
