Swim
Comments: Decent swim overall; I am slower without a wetsuit, but still averaged around 2:13/100. What would you do differently?: Not much, if anything. My swim is my worst sport, but this was solid. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition. Went without socks. T1 was 9/26 pace. Good clean transition. Bike
Comments: Here we go. I love the bike, and *finally* I could race without holding back on it. THIRD in my AG, 25th overall. NP was north of 200 watts, but the numbers are off a bit due to a PM issue. What would you do differently?: Push it harder. Transition 2
Comments: Stopped to put on socks - should baby powder them to make it easier. Run
Comments: There are some fast runners in my AG. Yikes. Post race
Warm down: Kept walking, cooled off in the water spray, had some food, relaxed. Great day. What limited your ability to perform faster: My performance was probably 95% of what I am capable of. Very happy with it. Probably could have pushed the swim and bike more. Last updated: 2014-03-10 12:00 AM

Woke up around 4:30am; had a cliff bar. Left the house right around 5:00am and rode the bike to the race site, about 4 miles away. Weather was a bit drizzly, but the temperature was nice. Sipped perform while I waited.
Swam about 300 yards in the water, to acclimate. First major OWS without a wetsuit. Water was pleasant, between 75 and 78 degrees, and felt great.
