This is a terrific new design for a Triathlon/Cycling Saddle.

It specifically targets Perineum and Genital comfort caused by increased pressure during Triathlon and Cycling, with two main features:

1.) It provides a 3/4" drop in the midsection to account for the normal body in the aero position.

2.) It has an integrated Air Bladder that is fully adjustable! We call it the active surface because it moves as you pedal. That action reduces any hot spots in those areas, which are typically caused by sitting on a hard area for an extended period.

3.) Because of the pronounced drop in the saddle, it allows for a perfect position when fitting the saddle to your set up position. So you'll always know exactly where your power zone is when sitting in the saddle.

See more at www.3westdesign.com . The saddle will be crowd sourced on Kickstarter, September 16. Please join us in signing up on our site or sharing your thoughts on twitter @ReprieveSaddle . You can also like us on Facebook; 3 West Design, The Reprieve Saddle.

I cannot get comfortable without the nose of the saddle being tilted down. I have tried many different seats and had two professional fittings, but still have excessive numbness and discomfort.

Finding the right bicycle saddle is often a confusing process of trial and error for cyclists. However, a little education goes a long way, and will perhaps save you some pain and discomfort as well.

Many things will influence your triathlon bike position, but if you are forced to set your position up on your own, there are several overall guidelines that should help.

In this third segment, Colorado Premier Training goes through several bike position tests to improve on rider efficiency. This was accomplished by varying the saddle height and aerobar width.

When first going aero, your shop should begin by putting you in the least aggressive position. This means the aerobar pads will be almost level or just below the saddle.

After a while on my first longish ride, I noticed that I was getting numb. It’s scary. “Will feeling return?” is the first thing that comes to mind.

The ISM Adamo Racing Saddle is difficult to define. It doesn’t look like a bicycle saddle. It doesn’t mount like a bicycle saddle. And yet, it does feel like a bicycle saddle.

Whether your bike is new, new to you, or you have not been on the bike for a long time, you really should spend some time thinking about how your bike fits you.
