Had a penalty as well but not said what it was. Wonder if he was carrying a mobile device on course and looking to send some photos .

Kidding aside good to see him stay active and out of the limelight doing his thing.

His bike split was pretty solid. (for a pocket passer)

Was he INTERCEPTED on the course? Good to see that he didn't leave the course INCOMPLETE.
Word from the street was that, during the run, he would take three steps right, three steps left, run backwards 20 yards and fall down. Then get back up and do it all over again.

Looking at the results, looks like they gave about 65 penalties on the day. Wonder what they were all for, and can we get these marhsalls at the flat IM courses?

There were two races. A sprint and an olympic. I did the sprint and Favre was racked just down the row from me. Most everyone knew who he was and I didn't see anyone bothering him or making a big deal about it. He is a big guy but looks pretty fit. His wife races a good bit in Mississippi and on the Gulf Coast....I think she was third in the sprint.

There were alot of penalties assessed for the size of the race.  About 400 is the sprint and 200-250 in the olympic. One of my team mates got a blocking penalty and was shocked. Definitely alot more penalties than we typically see in races along the coast

I quickly browsed an article in Men's Health that talked about doing a triathlon, and how it wasn't really that hard. With a "tsk!" I quickly turned the page while thinking, "Yeah, right!"
