Is there any sort of central database/website for all open water swims out there? I've done some googling, but the sites I've found are pretty slim and don't even include the races I know of off hand, so I know that they aren't all inclusive. I'm trying to find a good open water swim to do in South Florida. The only two I know of in Keys are an 8 miler around alligator reef and the swim around Key West which is a 12 miler. Both are more distance than I care to cover and they also require support kayaks and heavy entrance fees. I also heard the alligator reef swim is actually closer to 10 miles. I'm just looking for something under 10k to practice OWS and get into a little competition. Is there any place that is sort of the repository for these types of events?
