Simple, I wasn't able to be around at the end of the bid period so I placed an early bid with a max amount that would be $350 for each wheel with shipping included. I've won several items that I didn't expect to win like this, you just never know with eBay. My other big snag was a new generation Felt B12 frame, retails for $1800, I won it for $700. |

However, I do think that adults should have their own money that they can spend on fun stuff without being accountable to anyone else. Of course, I spent Saturday browsing a bike shop that doesn't carry anything under $5000 (they are building up a Pinarello for me to test ride!) so my husband wouldn't even blink at that wheel purchase. |

Even though the eBay ad showed the wheels with tires on them, I just figured it was for the wheels only as there was no mention of the tires/tubes in the ad. I received then today with like new GP4000s (plenty of tread), latex tubes with valve extenders, and using Veloplugs. X |
