There's a new club in Southern MD: Multi-Sport Club of Southern Maryland....If you live in Southern MD, check it out! I found them on Facebook.

They are having a event on Strength training on the 25th:

Learn how to maximize your strength training during the off-season and next season with a proven program:

• Why strength training is a must for multi-sport athletes
• How to attain higher levels of performance readily and efficiently
• Develop balanced strength, stress-proofing your body, preventing injuries

Then give it a try with a HANDS-ON Session where you will actually experience:
• An assessment screen to look for imbalances
• Exercises & Protocols to create a more productive strength training experience
• How to put it all together by participating in the group training session

The event will be lead by Josh Williams, Founder of Kinetic Fitness Solutions, John Flagg, OSPT Wellness Director and Mike Fecik, USA Triathlon Coach

As an added bonus, Triathlon coach Mike will lead a cadence class that will accommodate beginners to elite cyclists and triathletes. Don't forget your bike and a trainer. If you do not have a trainer, contact Mike at (240.607.9706) and reserve one! [NOTE: Athletes who participated and put into practice what they learned during last winter’s classes improved their performance dramatically and some had stellar seasons this year. YOU can be next!]

The event is FREE to Multi-Sport club members and only $10 for non-members. Join today and get all the member benefits! (https://www.signmeup.com/site/online-event-registration/101991).

The event will run from 9:00 - 11:00 AM October 25th. It will be hosted at Kinetic Fitness Solutions, 4417 Southern Business Park Drive, White Plains MD 20695

Space for this event is limited so reserve your spot early by calling Mike at (240.607.9706) or emailing us at [email protected].

i'm a member, but haven't made it to any of the sessions yet, mostly because they never seemed to work with my IM training plan

they are also doing to do some cadence classes over the winter with Kinetic fitness - take your bike/your fluid trainer and do sessions that way - I think its on their facebook page somewhere - like tues/thurs nights

Club or group workouts are very motivating and soon you’ll start feeling like a triathlete, making you less likely to flake out.
