I think he recommends in there trying to space them out as morning and afternoon if possible, to allow for some recovery between them. I have used this book for everything from sprint distance to ironman and found the plans to be excellent. I usually fell a bit short of the recommended distances, but still was adequately trained to complete the races. I think if you did all of the workouts in the plans as prescribed, you would be in excellent shape to rock the race. |
