Newbies bike purchase

I 'm new to the triathlon game, looking for my first true tri bike. I am looking at a used 2010 felt b2 for $1500, basically stock. Purchasing from a friend of a co-worker, he is the second owner. States never crashed or dropped, regularly serviced. Fair deal?
