Subject: garmin uploads all bike
Hi. All my Garmin uploads come through as bike rides and I can't find how to edit the type of training only the details.

What device are you using?

 How do you upload to BT? does it automatcially transfer via the Garmin Connect/BT linkage OR do you upload it via our workout uploader in the training log?

I'm using both garmin 800 and a 705. Not sure which method but I selected automatic upload and as soon as I load my activity onto garmin connect, I go onto BT and it's there as a ride, even if I swam or ran. I can edit the details but not the type of activity so I have to delete it and then manually add it

For these Garmin units, is it going to Garmin Connect (GC) INITIALLY in the right sport?  OR do you have to change it in GC?

Yes it automatically loads as cycling as this is my main activity. All it needs in BT is to be able to edit the title as well as the details.
