I think sometimes you have to know the animal for a bit before you know what sounds/feels right. I have a cat from an animal rescue program here and they name the litters of kittens by theme--Tomoko's a petite, feisty little female with huge eyes and the name seems to fit (apparently it's a female anime character), but have to laugh about her brothers Sushi and Ramen. I'd have changed their names! |

My previous German Short Haired Pointer (1996 - 2011) was named Bailey....can't remember why we chose it. My current 5 year old Black Lab is named Griffin after the symbol on the seal of Purdue University. I also like Ripley for a dog name, but my neighbors "borrowed" it for their Brittany Spaniel. |

Our lab is super sweet but also super needy. He will randomly get a kitchen tower and know he is getting in trouble just to get attention. Thankfully he's past the shoe chewing stage |
