Hey guys,

I thought it would be good to activate my account again. Anyhow based in Minneapolis and training for 70.3 boulder and ironman louisville.

I am having a hard time finding a coach for my training can someone point me in the general direction or list a few people who are local.

Lastly, are there any local TRI clubs?

-Rob

Are you actually in Minneapolis or a suburb? There a few tri clubs around, depending on where you're willing to go.

I used Cathy Ynestad a few years back and was happy with her coaching. That said, I have done 4 IM's to date and have two scheduled for 2015 and am planning on doing it on my own. I really like Don Fink's book and he has three different training plans in there. I feel like I am much more connected to my training and the experience as a whole when I am in charge of the plan. Good luck!!

Hey Rob - Super late reply - my apologies. We are tri-club based in the twincities. Annual membership is $150 which includes 2 weekly pool swims, 1 indoor bike ride on your trainer and strength workout. We switch to outdoor training as soon as it is nice and safe. For more information checkout our website: http://www.northstartrifit.com.We also offer individual coaching.

The most valuable thing you can do for your endurance training is to schedule a weekly 2-4hr long ride from now until the end of time. Simply make this “what you do” every Saturday or Sunday morning.

Individuals are just that, individuals and need individual programs. However, with a group the size of yours, it may be difficult for your coaches to do 25 individual workouts.
