Day 5 for me. I'm doing a one minute front plank and 30 seconds on each side this week. Plank on!

I think I'll do at least another 2 days at 90 seconds before increasing duration, this is not easy.

Nice to see that we are getting a good group together. Wow, all of you are ambitious with going longer on planks! A couple of years ago, I tried to move my plank time up gradually over time. Then, to be honest, I decided I couldn’t stomach the thought. So now, I do one minute planks. Sometimes several planks but only a min each. Hats off to you who go longer!

Back from crewing. I took my yoga mat and planked while I was there. Was so busy that later I was just planked on the bleachers and didn’t bring the mat out. Gosh, it was something seeing all of those people in the 24-hour race (129 max miles), 100k, 100 miler, and 48-hour (130 max miles). I went to crew for two of my friends (although I ended up assisting others too). One friend did her first 100k (previous longest was 50k). My other friend got her goal of 100 miles, won the women’s division in the 48-hour, and was the last man standing! I’m so proud of her! We also saw a 16 y.o. set the record for Under 18 (He was the one with 130 miles). I had never crewed before and it was interesting, fun, and back-breaking.

Crewing sounds tough but rewarding. Good job getting your planks done!

WOW, I have a hard time wrapping my mind around someone actually doing that amount of running for that amount of time! Sounds like an endurance event crewing!

Way to get your planks in, too.

Keep it up and you'll hit 10 by summer. Multiple one minute planks will help you get there.

I'm still planking every day although I've been getting mine in late the last few nights too. Need to change that. Currently have 13 plank minutes for the year and 600 crunches.
