Centennial, Colorado
Subject: New in Denver area/Training/fFriends
Hello Colorado/Denver!!! Hope everyone had a good New Years. I have recently moved to Centennial and am looking to meet some people within the tri world out here to make some friends and have some people to run/ride/swim with. Kind of hard to ride in this weather right now though. I have meet up with the Kompetetive Edge group a few times, before the weather really turned to winter, and had great rides with them. It would be nice to find some people around my age (27) to hang out with and get to know the lay of the land a little more.

Drop by say hello.

Welcome to the Denver area! KE is a great group to train with. There are lots of triathletes on the south side of town, you will find them! Hopefully the snow will melt soon and we can all sneak in a winter outdoor ride.

Welcome to Colorado!  Great state to live in, tough place to compete in

I can't say I know a lot of younger (less than 30) triathletes.  It seems like triathlon is the sport "old" runners and bikers turn to.  I just got on the KE team so hopefully I'll see you at a group ride or run when the weather warms up!

Check out meetup.com I joined DCC and DFC and made many cycling friends last summer.
Runner's Edge is a great running group.
I haven't joined yet but likely will RMTC.
Sign up for races, there are lots!

I just created this triathlon meet up for people just like you and i looking for other people to train with!

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

The triathletes really inspired me. I watched them in awe as childlike thoughts went through my head like, "I want to do that!" But then reality set in. “Who are you kidding?
