moving to Chicago. Chicago athlete club?

Used to live in Lincoln Square back in the mid-90s (Rockwell and Ainslie). Looks like this place is still open. Never went there. This was back in my pre-athlete/drinking lots days.

It's a nice club, but a bit expensive. They opened up a pool across the street a few years ago that is pretty nice, but can be crowded when lessons are going on. It's right off the brown line so it's pretty convenient for a lot of people. If you do investigate further, make sure that you check whether you get a discount based on your employer. They have set up discount programs with a lot of employers in the city.

Overall, I like the club. I trained for an Ironman there last year (mostly used the pool, but also used the treadmills during the cold-Chicago extended winter last year), and my wife likes the variety of classes that they have. You can always get a week-long pass, I think, to try it out.
