Take in the atmosphere. Had a nice vantage point to watch all the early waves start.

Absolutely killed it. Thought my arms were going to fall off, if they had I would have sunk to the bottom in 10 seconds. Over exerted x10. Never so happy to get out of the water.

Transition run was long. Transition area was huge. Felt a little overwhelmed. Saw several epic failed bike mounts.
What would you do differently?:

Hard to practice at this scale of transition.

Had fun riding with elite age groupers from waves that started lafter me. Not having been on a bridge that tall with those crosswinds I was intimidated.

Let loose. Left at least 1 to 2 MPH on the course.

I love your report! I went for the second year to Milwaukee and got my butt kicked even more soundly than I did in 2013! But as you say, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel like they are a "real" athlete. I just found the experience both years to be amazing!!!
