Good morning BT!

4:30am:  :60 minutes on the KK, easy spinning

5:30am:  :30 minutes strength

Nothing but solid training ahead...I am so thankful that there is a handful of you out there that post daily as well...I don't feel so alone in my quest knowing you are out there bustin' butt too!

Have a great day!

Okay, our workouts don't match today. Was starting to wonder. 3000m of swimming. Not a good outing--just didn't feel like I could breathe right, even on warmup. Probably needed my inhaler but hate the side effects. The pool and I don't always get along--not well ventilated some days. On the plus side, the water is warmer now and good for distance swimming.

Funny how they do quite frequently though!

Trainings been a little sporadic for me but I'm here today with 90 minutes of spinning. After I get through a big push at work I'll be back to training more frequently. Congrats everyone on all the good work!

yep, at it on this rainy Monday!

5am - 6.5 mile run

8:30 - 45 min of strength work
9:30 - 50 min spin class - keep telling myself to take this and my Friday class a little easier, but that's easier said than done!

Pouring rain out, but I'm time crunched this week and next week will be traveling for Spring Break, so I REALLY needed to get a swim in today.

Went to the pool and got in 2500yd. Kinda fun in the rain, but my bag was soaked when I was done. Happy I did it though!

20 min core in the late morning
And a 4 mile run in the afternoon, warmed up to 20° so skipped the gym and went outside, took a weird step off a curb and lost a toenail at mile 2. But it's cool, they grow back.??

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?

This is not an easy task, especially for the “9-to-5er” with family. But you can do it – all without sacrificing your marriage, job or family.

Once you caught your breath, it occurred to you that finishing even a short triathlon might be harder than you thought. After a few "laps" you thought, "I can't believe I'm so out of shape."
