I recently bought a set of Profile Designs T3 clip-on aero bars and after a few rides the arm pads have started slipping on me. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, any recommendations? It's gotten to the point now that after I unscrew everything and put them back in place, with a light push on them they slip right back down again and are basically useless.

I had this problem too. I"m pretty sure my husband added Loctite on them- But I will confirm.

The problem has not resurfaced since he fixed them. They had a major slippage issue in a race going over a speedbump.

That'd be great, thank you! I actually just spoke to the store I bought them from and they said to bring my bike by and they'd put some "Fiber Grip" on which should take care of it. The first time it happened was also on a speedbump, I swore I blew a tire it made such a loud noise. Having never used aero bars before this set, I find riding on them uncomfortable enough even when they are in the right position. Having the pads slipping down makes me feel like I'm getting ready to do a cannonball pool jump.

I have the T3+ aluminum.

The arm rests are solid after I tightened the allen screw directly under the pad. Perhaps the T3 is different.

Just wanted to give an update in case anyone else has this issue. I took them back to the store I bought them from and the bike mechanic said the screws weren't going in fully. Something to do with them being new and having something on them. He put some oil on the screws, tightened them up and they've been perfect ever since.

When people think of hydration in the aero position, the first name that comes to mind is the Aerodrink from Profile Design. I was expecting a pretty quick and breezy review of this water bottle.

Often athletes forget the fitness basics such as warm up and cool down. We know they are important, but we want to get into the meat of our workout without wasting time.
