4.17.15 Finally Friday!

Enjoy the day off-you've certainly earned it! And congrats on daughter's accomplishments. I'm always in awe of people who have the athletic ability to do something other than endure hours of continuous suffering, which is my only talent!

1:10 trainer ride and 35 minutes of strength stuff here. One more week of serious training and then can start taper!

1800M continuous swim at a 1:50 pace and the 25 minute core and stretch for me today, much better today then yesterday dismal run..!!!

Finally Friday is right! - been a LONG 3 weeks and been MIA!

I volunteered at my kids school to help run the book fair. 3 weeks of collecting, organizing and sorting books. Sale was the past 2 days and other than a couple hours each day to sneak out and get a swim or teach a class, I was there. We made a LOT of money to buy books for our library and the teachers got to select books to keep in their classrooms! So it was worth it!

Kinda anti-climatic, but I had a race last weekend (OLY) that I PR'd - yay - and Ironman AZ training started this week. Lots going on!

5:15am - 4.5 mile run

9:30 - 50 min spin class

I have a 30 min bike time trial test tomorrow - should be interesting! TGIF!

First time posting in these threads, seems it would add another layer of accountability, so I like the idea.

40 miles on the bike, which ended in a pretty nasty wreck and a trip to the ER..

Congrats on your daughter's pitching! Also a big thumbs up on the PR in the Oly. And, to the last poster, hope your body and bike damages aren't too bad from the wreck and you heal fast.

Me, I spent about 15 miles playing with and dialing in the clip on T1+ aero bars I just got. By the end I think I had them getting pretty comfy and aero. Will continue on that tomorrow. Did a mini brick with just a mile run after the bike. I then finished with 500yrds in the pool. Swim is really starting to feel better and better. Would have done 1000, but ran out of time with guests coming for Fri evening diner. Hope everyone has a terrific weekend!
