Good morning BT!  I got a very early start for a Sunday!

4:00am:  3:00 on the KK, threw in some tough intervals in the middle. Started watching Game of Thrones---I am hooked!  I was disappointed the first disc only had two episodes--two hours in I was ready for the 3rd episode but wasn't willing to get off the bike so off to my DVR'd shows.

7:00am:  5 mile run, legs felt great

Have a great day!  Oh!  Just heard Rinny is racing in St. George....O.M.G!!!

I'm visiting my daughter who lives in Brooklyn, so today I ran the Brooklyn 15k in Prospect Park.  1:16;55, good enough for 2nd place out of 7 in my age group.  The last half mile I did battle with the guy who ended up 3rd place by 3 seconds. . We laughed about it after and again later when we received the medals. It was a good sprint to the finish.

I'm going to do some hills. Bumping up training in preparation for the racing season.

18 mile tempo run this morning. Felt pretty good. Working on my nutrition for longer races. Have been bonking around mile 14...think I am good now.

1:15 on TR tonight. Much needed rest day tomorrow.

4 AM on Sunday?? That is true dedication! Had great intentions for an "early start" but delayed by a slow leak in my tire....Started at 6:15 and didn't finish till 11:20. How does that happen with a workout that's supposed to be 4:20? Talk about slow transitions!

3:30 ride and 50 minute run this AM, trying to get used to the new rear water bottle mount. Happy to report that I avoided killing myself or any innocent bystanders (not that there were many in the industrial park, but nearly hit a dog and a lizard).

PM 35 minutes of strength stuff.

One more week till spring break! Time to get new tires/tubes. I bought the bike secondhand so who knows how long they've been on there, and I've been grinding down the rear tire all spring on the trainer.

Feeling confident and cocky, after finally losing some weight, I got off my back side and into triathlon.
