I got an Air Attack for Christmas. So far, I'm liking it. It's not too hot and feels aero.
My first race is coming up at the end of June. For those who have raced with Air Attack: Do you put the visor down before the race and put if on like that or do you flip it down after you've started biking?

I will probably leave mine up, put the helmet on, and then attach in transition before riding.

I have my visor attached and ready to go in transition. I have my helmet upside down on my towel, with the shield facing me. I put it straight on. The shield easily attaches with the magnets, however I am clumsy and have bad luck and am certain I would drop and/or lose the shield between the transition and the road.

I have the Air Attack. I start with the visor in down position. I put the helmet on my aero bars. It slips on fast during transition without the visor moving at all. If my head did bump the visor, the magnets are pretty strong. I can't see the visor being an issue in the down position...but I do see it being a pain to have it up (upside down) and trying to dink with flipping it around on the bike.

BTW, get ready to look like a boss...my kids tell me I have the coolest helmet on the course.

Thanks all. I'll try it down and hopefully my nerves won't send it flying while I'm putting it on.
