A big thank you to all that have served our country!

6:30am:  heading downstairs to my 'gym'  to jump on the bike for 60 minutes followed with a 15 minute run.  Rains hit hard again yesterday (after my run thank goodness!) but before I could get out to swim so that's on tap today as well.

Enjoy the day BT!

Lucky you....no holiday here. On the plus side, thanks for the rain! FINALLY got an honest monsoon downpour around 2 PM for nearly an hour. When school was out I went out and stood in it for a few minutes. Felt so good to be cool. Heat index has been triple digits and LOWS above 80 (at 2-3 AM, already mid-80's by 5-6 AM when I run) for a couple of months now.

2800m of swimming here. Bunch of race-pace intervals which just felt really hard. Maybe my "race pace" is too ambitious. I could do 25 minutes in a pool 1500m but I think if I did that in a tri I'd just take a nap on the beach afterwards!

4 mile hilly run today with a friend from church.

I would also like to express my gratitude and appreciation to those who gave all they have for the freedoms we enjoy in this amazing country!
