Good morning BT!

Off day for me today...my whole body is achy after the last three days of training so thought it'd be smart to have a rest day.  The fatigue from Ironman training is beginning to set in I think...three more weeks of tough stuff before the blessed two week taper!  Although into the third day of that taper I'll be complaining that I'm not doing enough!

Have a great day!

It certainly sounds like you've earned a rest day! Enjoy!

One hour run here with four 5-minute tempo pickups and 3 minutes recovery. Feel a lot better running this week than last. The hard part has been persuading myself that I need to get up at 4:XX for another three weeks! PM about 40 minutes of strength stuff.

30m cycling on the gym's stationary bike. It's not my favorite way to bike, but at least it's something, right??

Great job Kim!! Keep your head up - you are doing awesome! I'm in the "I'm not doing enough training" phase of my IM plan (base) but trying to be good and not complain to my coach. She keeps reminding me of the months ahead :-).

5:15am - 60 min power spin - 6x5 min hill repeats at threshold - my group loved this one
7am - 3 mile run with my son riding his bike - love these morning rides!

9:30 - 1750 yd swim - 16x50's - yuck!

Lookin good today everyone.

I was visiting with some family in Louisiana this weekend and got in a 6 mile run through the forest yesterday, and 12x400 speed work on the bike path today. A tornado went through last night but was a few miles from our house so we dodged it, but the rain just kept coming and coming, so some parts of the bike path were under water today!

Crazy thunderstorms last night. I was able to get in 12 miles on the bike before it started to pour.
