So, both my wife and I work out a ton.  (Yes, we have both finished Ironman.  I am required by law to disclose this).

Any way, our closet always smells like our B.O.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Add white vinegar to your washing machine when you wash your workout clothes, it will suck out the sweat stank.

Oh.  We keep our hamper in the closet, so I was referring to post-workout (pre-washed) clothes.  Actually, they are not stink at all after we wash them.

Uhhhmmmm..... do as everyone I know does, and keep your dirty laundry hamper somewhere other than in the closet full of clean clothes???

Get an old fashioned nappy bucket. (If you aren't sure what this is ask your grandma )

Basically a bucket with a water tight lid. Part fill it with a cold water and white vinegar solution and then put your workout clothes in it to soak until you have enough for a load of washing. When you have enough for a load pour the whole bucket (clothes and water into your washing machine) and wash as normal.

If you don't have the space to do this then I would suggest putting your workout clothes straight into your washing machine and closing the lid on that until you have enough for a load.

I've started hanging my wet dirty clothes outside until they are dry and then put them in the laundry basket inside. My wife has complained much less since I started doing this.

Rinse clothes out after workout and hang outside until dry and then put in hamper.
