Comments:

First race in California, first race I could walk to, and first race with a puncture wound in my butt from sitting on a needle. ;)

This ended up being my fastest 5k in quite awhile. I walked a bit more at the end than I wanted to. I just got so gassed from the first two laps, and I had a hard time keeping that going. Tried to run through the pain, but I just couldn't mentally keep it going.
What would you do differently?:

Not much. This was really part of a training run, so I was happy to have a good race on top of that.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked to get food at end (coconut water, banana, coffee).

Called family to see what they were doing, walked to get donuts, and then went home (at least 0.5 miles)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Mental toughness. I think I could have not walked towards the end, but my brain was just really trying to get my legs to stop. Or the other way around? I don't know.
