Subject: 7.8.15 What's Up Wednesday!

Good morning BT!

5:30am:  35 minute super slow jog

6:00am: Insanity Cardio Recovery--lots of nice stretching

Later:  might get out on the mountain bike for a bit.  I definitely still feel a fatigue so taking it nice and slow.

Everything went well today - in fact last few sessions (bike,swim, and gym) have felt good.

Heading out in about an hour for a 30-40 minute run. That's it. Taper madness--running out of things to reorganize!

6:30am -Got out for 40 min run with 15 min Z3 work - couldn't breathe well but kept the intensity. Damn humidity!

9:15am - 90 min Hot Yoga - been a few weeks so had to take a couple breaks so I didn't pass out!

Been trying to do a sugar detox the last few days - things on vacation and lately have gotten out of control! Also trying to cut out a lot of crap I've been eating - nothing awful since I eat Paleo most of the time, but just trying to clean things up. Man it's tough - I realize just how much I snack - gotta work on that.

Did some speed and agility work this morning for an extracurricular activity at school. Today was the first time I had to run over hurdles.

Short run for me tonight. My right calf muscle really threw in the towel this week. It's been hurting since Thursday and running 13 miles on Sunday didn't help any. Took a few days of icing it and gave up after 3 miles tonight, but did some kicking in the pool (which didn't hurt). Frustrating. Looks like more rest and ice.

In taper mode as well, last run 3 miles home from the gym after my two year olds swimming lesson. Three races this weekend, du and a 5k saturday, sprint tri on sunday. Not sure what i have gotten myself into, but after training for this I am in the best shape of my life. I will probably start a thread on saturday night and into sunday with my experience.

I went out and ran 8 Yasso's. Average time was 3:17 which is pretty good for me.
