About as good as it gets with me in this swim. It would need to be thundering and lightning out for me to move any faster :)

Bike

Comments:

Apparently after the torrential rains from last week they thought the trails needed sand. A lot of sand. It was like riding and running on the beach. I fully expect next year the roots will be dug up and the woods paved. **rolleyes**

Still managed to ride 4th out of 44 women. HEH

I really gotta spend the off season learning how to run faster.

Event comments:

I do love this series but every week is mentally a lot in the middle of IM training. The series is the best out of 7 (would have been 8 except last week isn't counting) so I've decided to only do 8. The second to the last one is the Tuesday before IMMT and of course the last one is the Tuesday after - we'll still be in Canada. Oh well - it's certainly been good for my short game!

Your consistency of improvement is incredible! Glad you are still having fun in spite of the fact they are paving the bike.

Nice job!

Sand, seriously?!  And I thought the bark/wood chips were bad.

Great job out there!

Hahaha yes, cut down all those hazardous trees for the off road tri. They might hurt someone.

Actually, let's all just stay at home where it's safe

Great race, it sounds like fun

Congratulations on a race well run. I'm sure it is all helping with IMMT prep.

I own both a road bike and a tri bike. I am wondering which bike I should be riding during off season training, or does it matter?
