Subject: i finished...thank you all

i finished my first tri which was the chicago accenture international distance on sunday. the swimming for me was hell, mostly because i got 3rd degree burns on my leg/hand back in march which put me out of the water for about 4 months and i really didnt know how to swim until i got a swim coach after i healed. it felt great to finish and i still cant wipe the smile off my face. thank you all for the great info and answering all my questions. looking forward to begin training again and doing it again very soon

Congrats!

Just finished my first as well! Isn't it a great feeling? I hear ya about the pain - I was unfortunate to get cramps in my legs during my tri for the last 4 miles.
