I just snagged the last spot in this race - I'm excited!

Awesome! That looks like quite an adventure! Can't wait to read the RR.

I took a different direction as well.  I did Pikes Peak on Saturday and am scheduled for Moab in November.

I'm thinking of trying to get in with a team for Ragnar Angel Fire.

TJ,

I haven't brought myself to rune 26.2 miles yet... much less up a mountain! Congrats!
(I'm hoping you did a race report... as, I'm going to look for it after I post this)

On Ragnar Angel Fire... check the Facebook page, there are teams still looking for team members.
If you get up there, look for our camp! Our team name is "In Tents!"

The Moab race looks awesome. In my "heavier" days I used to Jeep up there a couple of times a year. It's an incredible place and I have always thought about going back and running the Jeep trails I used to go on (specifically Hell's Revenge). I might just have to look a little closer at the Maob (Half) Marathon..

Moab... beautiful! I'd live there if I could make a living there.

We still jeep it at least once a year but now we also include mtb, run and even tried the zip line. We were there earlier this year and talked about retiring there.

I did find a team for Angel Fire. I don't know the team name or my runner position but I'll look for you.

ETA: apparently it's Team A-Z

Team A-Z - I'll look for you!

We took the tram up on Sunday morning and ran at 10K ft... it hurt. That red trail is going to be a bear!

FYI: Our camp and shirt will have the logo of our gym:

My red trail will be around 12:30 am so I get to do it with a headlamp   I just tried running with it this morning. I think I'll be ok but I might carry a handheld too. Most of us are staying in a condo but a couple of the guys are going to tent.
