Subject: Treadmill Problem - Lifespan TR 1200i
Last night I was in the middle of a run and all of a sudden my treadmill shut down. It was a longer run and I was drenched in sweat, I'm guessing my sweat got into the electronics and is the cause of the problem. I flipped the power on and off and the screen turns on, but turns off a few seconds later.

We just bought this treadmill a year and a half ago. Has any one else ran into this before? Has any one dealt with customer service for LifeSpan Fitness? It appears there is a 3 year warranty on parts, I haven't started that process yet and was wondering if anyone else had any experience with them.

Did you try to let it cool down, and then reset it? I have a cheap one that shuts down for awhile if I go too hard.

I tried it again this morning, same thing screen lights up and is blank and then turns off a few seconds later.

An update in case anyone is following this thread. I contacted Lifespan and they sent a new control panel at no charge, the treadmill has been working fine for a couple weeks now.
