I was happy to run this well given the recent past.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

road conditions, weather and only taking a two day taper and running 26 miles in the mountains the weekend before.

Event comments:

Pretty scenic course and surprisingly tough. My Garmin measured 2070 feet of elevation gain and a lot of that came in the first 3/4 of the course. It was a windy day, which made it more difficult but had a good time anyway. This was a really nice, small town marathon. Glad I chose it.

I just finished the NYC marathon on Sunday and I think I'm going to venture into triathlons. I am doing an Olympic distance and I want to do a 70.3 next year too. Any advice?
