Tentative, waiting to see if they change or fix the bike course.

I did Racine 2 summers ago and the road was not that bad. I mean the mid-west does this seam thing when they pave roads, so I can not see that ever being fixed, but I was able to get use to the thump, thump with in the first 5 miles.

It was a great race, my fav HIM swim of all time! But there was some extreme heat to deal with when I was out there and so many people were crashing on the run.

Tentative guy as well from Omaha. Will most likely do it but pushing through some injuries right now and trying to plan out the summer to where I don't get burned out. I did this 2 years ago. Water was little cold at 59 degrees... Looking forward to it though!

I was there in 2014 and the bike was terrible I'd have to agree. Won't be there this year, but I'd like to toe the line again sometime. Great swim that year! Very memorable until the bike course and subsequent crash.

??

First HIM, I have wanted to do this race for years and finally am going to do it.  My only goal at this point is to finish feeling good.    I'm from south of Chicago - Plainfield IL.

I just finished the NYC marathon on Sunday and I think I'm going to venture into triathlons. I am doing an Olympic distance and I want to do a 70.3 next year too. Any advice?

Some mistakes I made during the Hawaii Ironman 70.3. Don't be caught out on the course not knowing how or not having the equipment to change a flat tire.

It was the morning of Ironman Newfoundland 70.3, I felt queasy. I didn't want to eat or drink anything. I had a full blown case of the pre-race HEEBEE GEEBEES.
