Subject: Introduction from Olympia
Hello all,

I am in my training to do my first triathlon for my 50th this July. I am feeling pretty good about completing a sprint and my ultimate goal would be olympic distance.

1) Is there any swim lessons or technique trainings so I can go from zero swimming to 1 mile in the next 5 months? I have joined the club with an indoor pool so I will be getting in the water after I complete my 5k race in March.

2) I have signed up for the Ocean Shores 7/9 meet but realized there is one in my backyard the same weekend and would be willing to sell off my registration to the trifreaks event at a 50% discount so I can participate in the Lakewood event.

3) Is there any training groups in Olympia/Tumwater/Lacey? It seems there are running and biking groups but not much in the way of helping the swim.

4) Finally is there a good place to get fitted for a wetsuit? I've found the sizing charts quite intimidating.

I am really looking forward to continue my training. Current paces are 15 m/h bike; 6.3 m/h run; 0 for swim

Thanks for any information you can provide
