Subject: RE: Good spin studio or bike rental in PHX? Arizona Outback Adventures rents nice road bikes. They also have lots of maps of different rides from the shop and around the area. Great people!

I teach at a cycling studio on 116th and Shea so Scottsdale area. 5;15am Tues/Thursday. Bodyrx.com
The cycling classes aren't listed on the website, but you can email the owner if you are interested in coming in. Just let her know you heard from me on this website. We have Cycleops bikes with power meters and I teach a interval/threshold based class so none of that dancing on the bike stuff. All the people in the class are either triathletes or cyclists.
I teach at another place if you are interested in altitude training :- ) - www.livecerulean.com
We have cycling classes on Wattbikes - which are amazing!
There are quite a lot of 'cycling' studios around along with gyms where you can get a pass, but a lot of them are the "party on the bike" classes which I avoid at all costs. I'd either try Lifetime or Mountainside…but you never know how the instructor is going to teach…but you can always do your own thing depending on what you like.
Hope this helps. Enjoy your time in Phoenix!
