Hello guys,

I am not an expert in the helmet, so if I can have your feedback and experience.

Normally I used review website to know is the gear is good or not like 220triathlon
Here the review for the helmet 2016: http://www.220triathlon.com/gear/gear-guides/10-of-the-best-tt-bike...

First I thought the Louis Garneau P09 was a good helmet, after the fixed minor problem around the year 2014. But the review
said it is not that good ...
The best value will be the Bell Javelin.

So what is your feedback about the aero helmet... Which one are you recommending or had bad experience .

Thank !

cheapest helmet that tests "fast" on pretty much everyone is the Giro A2 Advantage. Can be picked up ~$100 (or less) and is probably the safest choice if you don't know what helmet to buy.

The Javelin and P09 also test good on an array of people, but are generally a bit more expensive.

A few things to keep in mind. An aero helmet with long tail will be faster, but only if the tail is following the contour of your back and you keep your head still. If you move your head around (especially looking down, for example for hydration, computer, etc.) then a short tail helmet will be better.

For most amateurs, a short tail helmet will be a better choice. Personally, I love my KASK Bambino, best helmet for ME. Another option I really like is the Rudy Project Wingspan (super adjustable with open vents, closed vents, mesh vents, then open or closed tail).
